Welcome to Koala Water Heaters (“Koala Water Heaters,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). These Terms of Service govern your use of our website and your requests for water-heater replacement, installation, repair, plumbing, and related services (collectively, the “Services”).

By using this website, requesting an estimate, scheduling service, or otherwise engaging with us, you agree to these Terms.

1. Our Services

Koala Water Heaters provides water-heater replacement, installation, repair, and related plumbing services. Service availability, scheduling, and scope depend on location, site conditions, product availability, permit requirements, and technician availability.

We may decline or reschedule a job where it is unsafe, outside our service area, outside our scope of work, or cannot be completed lawfully.

2. Estimates and Pricing

We offer free estimates unless we tell you otherwise in writing.

Any estimate is based on the information available at the time and the conditions reasonably observable before work begins. A written estimate or invoice provided for your specific job controls over general statements, website content, advertisements, or verbal discussions.

If hidden conditions, code requirements, customer-requested changes, or other circumstances materially affect the work, we will explain the change and any revised pricing before proceeding where reasonably practical.

Unless stated otherwise in writing, quoted pricing may include the agreed equipment, standard installation labor, required connections, haul-away of the old unit, applicable permits, inspections, and taxes.

3. Scheduling and Access

You are responsible for providing safe and timely access to the property, work area, water-heater location, electrical or gas connections, and any required building or community approvals.

You must inform us before work begins about known hazards, access restrictions, pets, unsafe conditions, prior repairs, leaks, mold, asbestos, structural concerns, or other relevant conditions.

If we cannot safely access the work area or complete the agreed work because of conditions outside our control, we may reschedule the job or charge for work already performed, where permitted by law.

4. Permits and Inspections

Where required for the agreed work, we will obtain or coordinate permits and inspections as included in the written estimate. You agree to provide reasonable cooperation, including access for inspectors if needed.

We are not responsible for delays caused by permit offices, inspectors, utilities, manufacturers, weather, property-management rules, or other third parties.

5. Payment

Payment is due according to the terms on your invoice or written agreement. We may accept payment after the installation is completed and hot water is restored, subject to the terms agreed for your job.

If payment is overdue, we may use lawful collection methods and may recover reasonable costs of collection where permitted by law.

6. Financing

If financing is offered, it is subject to the terms, eligibility requirements, approval process, and privacy practices of the third-party financing provider. Koala Water Heaters does not guarantee financing approval or financing terms.

7. Warranty

Unless a different written warranty applies:

• Our labor is covered by a one-year labor warranty from the date of completed installation.
• Manufacturer warranties for water heaters, parts, and equipment are provided by the applicable manufacturer and are subject to that manufacturer’s terms, exclusions, registration requirements, and claim process.
• Our labor warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, misuse, neglect, improper maintenance, freezing, corrosion, water-quality issues, acts of nature, utility failures, modifications by others, or work performed by someone other than Koala Water Heaters.

To request warranty service, contact us promptly and allow us a reasonable opportunity to inspect the issue and, if covered, perform the necessary corrective work.

8. Customer Responsibilities

You agree to:

• Provide accurate information when requesting an estimate or service;
• Maintain the property and water-heater system as reasonably required;
• Follow product manuals and safety instructions;
• Avoid allowing unqualified persons to alter or repair work performed by us; and
• Notify us promptly if you believe there is a problem with our work.

9. Website Information

We aim to keep website content accurate, but service descriptions, pricing references, product availability, promotions, warranties, and other information may change without notice. Website content is for general information only and is not a binding offer, estimate, warranty, or guarantee.

10. Prohibited Use

You may not use this website to:

• Submit false, misleading, unlawful, or harmful information;
